I just thought I’d mention some of the updates that I’ve been making to my blog.

First of all, if you’ve noticed any changes then you must have come back after your first visit – thank you! Secondly, I’ve made the changes to make the blog easier to navigate, less cloggy and give a bit more information about myself.

I’ve read a lot of posts recently about the PR/SocMed echo-chamber and reaching out beyond immediate social circles. I was pretty incensed because I make sure that my circles are cast over a variety of echo-chambers, not just one. So to reflect this, I’ve added links to non-PR/SocMed sites I like, added more personal information and I’ll be scanning and posting a picture that I drew this morning of my social circles and how they overlap (I drew it with a pencil and everything). Keep your eyes peeled!

    Cheers Michael, your comment put a real smile on my face! I was a bit unsure about some of the changes but I thought I'd have a pop.. The whole pink hover thing is because of my business cards too - there is some logic to it!

  • Liking the new changes to the blog Jed, particularly the links page, visually lovely. Interesting observation that going from left to right, PR to Misc, it's like going up a flight of stairs, with the amount of links reflecting your career and expertise. Social policy is a fab idea too, adds a personal touch. Nice one Jed.
