Nice People
I have a theory that if I’m nice to people, eventually someone will be nice back. That’s not why I do it, I do it to balance out my inside-Karma because I’m cynical. But I love it when people are nice for the simple reason of being nice.
This has happened twice today. TWICE. I really want to point this out and bring peoples attention to two people who are very nice to me regardless of how much trouble I seem to throw at them.
The first is Zoe Davis of WebItPR. This woman singlehandedly saves my sanity and does it with such joy in her voice that I always want to send her flowers (but always feel it would be a little bit inappropriate). So I doth my hat to Zoe, she’s bloody lovely.
The second is Vanessa Spock of Red Bee Media. It doesn’t matter what I ask of her, she always manages to exceed it and make me laugh – it’s the Australian charm that does it. Thank you.
Niceness over. I’m off to stamp on some children’s fingers and push over some old ladies.
